Merzouga is about 550 km from Marrakech and about 470 km from Fes, so the camp is usually part of a private tour of 2 days or more. The last part to the camp is by camel or by 4x4 across the dunes.

Is it cold at night in the desert?

Yes, especially from November to February, when nights can be very cold. Bring warm layers; spring and autumn are the most pleasant seasons.
